About us
Nexus Health Economics is a consultancy that provides support to manufacturers of medical products, such as pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and medical devices, throughout the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) process. We assist in developing detailed, guideline-compliant HTA reports and conducting supplementary analyses that highlight the value of products for patients and society. Our team has extensive experience in health economics and HTA from payer, industry, and academic perspectives.
The team
We are two specialists in health economic evaluation: Lars Asphaug, PhD, and Mathyn Vervaart, PhD. With several years of experience in scientific research within health economics, we also bring extensive expertise in HTA from the Norwegian Medical Product Agency (DMP), providing a payer perspective, along with consultancy work for international pharmaceutical companies.
Our expertise
Our core expertise lies in preparing documentation for the submission of HTA dossiers of new medical products. We can also assist with related analyses, such as model development and descriptive analyses using registry data.
